Before going to sleep I always start a recording of a thunderstorm set to repeat all night.
It dates back to a time when I had noisy neighbours and it blocked them out admirably.
They have long since gone from my life but I still associate the sound of lashing rain with a good nights sleep...
That's a lovely sound to fall asleep to. I love the sound of rain on the window pane.
